Mostly Waltz on Sunday Afternoons
Mostly Waltz is an all-volunteer group of dancers that invites you to
an afternoon of dancing to beautiful live music. While the waltzing is
predominately in the traditional turning style, the music ranges widely
in tempo to accommodate all styles. The program includes other
couple dances, such as polka, one-step, schottische, swing, tango, etc.

The Sunday afternoon program
2:30 - 3:30 Intermediate Lesson (changes monthly)
2:45 - 3:30 Basic Waltz Lesson
3:30 - 6:00 Dancing to Live Music, starting with a waltz mixer.


Admission $12(includes lessons); no partner or experience needed

Intermediate Waltz Lesson:
A lesson to interest and challenge intermediate level waltzers. Led by Ret Turner and Maggie Grant.

Basic Waltz Lesson
Basic rotary waltz figures and dance principles that
will enable a beginner to participate. The 45-minute
lesson also covers the basics of common flourishes.
Taught by Michael VanBuskirk and partner.
